Diving Knowledge Specialties

Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) 32 and 40 (ISO 11107)

Intent

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox programs provide students with basic knowledge and skills needed to safely dive using breathing gas with enriched gas mixtures.
There are two possible certifications for this program:

Note | The Enriched Air Nitrox 32 certification qualifies the diver to use gas mixtures up to and including EAN32. The SSI Training Center that provides the diver’s breathing gas is solely responsible for gas analysis.
