Note | Non-SSI Professionals may only become a React Right Instructor by completing the Specialty Instructor Seminar.
- An active status Assistant Instructor Trainer, certified as a React Right Specialty Instructor, may conduct the seminar.
- The candidate may co-teach the applicable specialty program with an active status React Right Specialty Instructor.
- React Right Instructor candidates must train using current and appropriate first aid and CPR, oxygen administration, and AED equipment.
- The instructor must have sufficient training aids available and the ability to control and supervise all of the candidates at all times.
- Complete the Specialty Instructor Seminar or co-teaching requirements as outlined in the instructor manual for the Specialty Instructor Seminar.
- Complete a React Right final exam with a passing score for each of the portions of the program they are completing.
- Active status and current first aid and CPR, oxygen provider, and AED provider instructors with a recognized training agency may submit an application for an equivalent React Right Instructor certification.
The instructor may return to active status by co-teaching at least one complete React Right program or by completing a React Right Specialty Instructor Seminar.
