Freediving Specialty Programs

Pool Freediver and Higher

Students with a Pool Freediver certification or higher may register for the following programs:
  • Monofin Pool
  • No-Fins Freediving Pool
  • Training Techniques
  • Free Immersion
  • Basic Spearfishing

Student Prerequisites

  • Minimum age | 12 years old.
  • Have an SSI Pool Freediver certification or equivalent from a recognized training agency.

Depth Limitations

  • Free Immersion | For students with a Pool Freediver certification, the maximum open water depth is 20 meters.

SSI materials are written in English and follow U.S. spelling and punctuation.
